History of TNP Foundation
The foundation was established in 1993 as a tax exempt organization in order to provide sholarships for registered nurses that desire to become nurse practitioners. In 2004, the Foundation was able to begin awarding the first  round of community grants.  By providing scholarships and community grants for these nurses and nurse practitioners, the Foundation is achieving our mission of "increasing access to quality health care for the citizens of Texas".
Nurse Practitioners provide comprehensive health care and education to promote health and prevent disease to Texans in rural, urban and suburban settings.
